Rejoicing ... and regrouping

Blessed and Happy Easter -- the Lord is risen, alleluia! He is truly risen, alleluia!

I hope you are having a blessed Easter united to Our Lord in a spiritual Communion and with the rest of your parish through the Mystical Body of Christ (and perhaps a small bit of help with the live stream)

Perhaps you have had an Easter dinner and are now resting a bit, maybe from the sugar rush of delicious treats after a long and painful Lent. Your priests here, too, are rejoicing in the Resurrection and resting from an intense few days.

Going forward, we will have confessions daily and eventually again some other spiritual opportunities such as Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament. After a bit of rest, it will be time to begin some online classes to keep our minds engaged during our period of isolation. We are ministering to the sick of our parish and stand ready to take advantage immediately of any permissions that could possibly given at any time in the future for us to somehow have Masses with the Faithful present or to somehow administer Holy Communion. Let us pray fervently for that to happen soon!

In the meantime, we will continue to do everything we can. Please give us a day or two to regain our strength and take our rest -- as we are mortal men like the rest of you! In the meantime, please do, if possible, make a visit (or several)

to the Blessed Sacrament and see the beautifully-decorated Church adorned with the most beautiful Easter flowers and our newly-handcrafted and installed pulpit.

Resurrexit, sicut dixit, alleluia! (He hath arisen just as He said, alleluia!)
