Schedule Change effective September 8

Beginning Tuesday, September 8, the new schedule will take effect.  Please see below for the updated schedule of Masses and Confessions.

August 27, 2020

Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament Thursdays 9 a.m. until 12 Noon

During these dark days, one of our greatest sources of strength is Our Lord in the Blessed Sacrament.  We will Expose the Blessed Sacrament Thursdays from 9 a.m. and end with Benediction just before 12 Noon.  Please sign up here to make a Holy Hour.  Those not registered may still attend but we would like to ensure a minimum number of adorers each hour.  The Church will be unlocked during this time.  If enough people sign up, Our Lord will be Exposed in the Monstrance (Public Exposition); otherwise, in the ciborium (Private Exposition).

Additional Sunday 1 p.m. Mass Added Temporarily

Effective immediately, we are temporarily adding an additional Low Mass on Sundays at 1 p.m.  We are limited to 170 people total in the Church under the current COVID-19 restrictions and we have been getting that number for the 9 & 11 a.m. Masses.  We are hoping that some will consider going instead to the 1 p.m. Mass time because once we reach 170 people, the ushers will not be able to admit more into the Church.  At that point, the options will be 1) a small overflow area in the Church basement where the livestream is projected  2) going to your car and watching the livestream on your own device  3) coming back for a later Mass.  A reminder that viewing Mass on a broadcast does not fulfil the obligation nor is “attending” Mass but the bishop’s dispensation for Sunday Mass attendance is still in effect because of the Coronavirus.
